Business Growth Review · £495

Get to the heart of a business challenge.

A focused 1:1 working session for founders facing a particular challenge or decision and wanting an experienced outside perspective.

Together, we clarify the problem, challenge assumptions, explore options and identify practical next steps.

What we’ll cover

One challenge, looked at properly.

01

The problem

What’s really holding growth back, and is it the problem you’ve been trying to solve?

02

Your assumptions

What you know, what you’re assuming and what the available evidence suggests.

03

Your options

The realistic paths open to you, and the trade-offs between them.

04

Your next steps

Practical actions you can take, and what to test or measure.

What you’ll leave with

Clarity you can act on.

Proportionate to the information available and the length of the session. No comprehensive financial models, and no promise of guaranteed results.

  • A clearer definition of the challenge and what’s driving it.
  • An honest look at your assumptions and the evidence that matters.
  • Your realistic options and their trade-offs.
  • A concise written summary with practical next steps.
Sample outcome

What a founder might receive.

Vision, financial reality, commercial decision and next action, connected on one page.

FICTIONAL EXAMPLE

The business, figures and recommendation are invented to illustrate the format. They are not a client result and not a prediction for your business.

Business

Independent skincare brand

The founder’s vision

“Build a premium skincare business that maintains product quality, pays me well and gives me greater flexibility over my time.”

The current situation

Reasonable sales, but relatively little operating profit. The founder is considering investing more heavily in advertising.

The decision

Should the business increase marketing expenditure, or explore improving profitability from existing demand?

What the analysis reveals

Improving pricing or contribution from existing sales may be more effective than immediately investing in customer acquisition.

Monthly operating profit under each scenario (today: £3,000)
Price changeKeep 100% of customersKeep 95%Keep 90%Keep 85%
+5% (£33.60)£4,600£3,620£2,640£1,660
+10% (£35.20)£6,200£5,140£4,080£3,020
Hypothetical assumptions: price £32variable cost £14 per order1,000 orders a monthfixed costs £15,000 a month

A 10% increase still beats today if at least ~85% of customers stay; a 5% increase needs ~92%. By comparison, an extra £3,000 a month on advertising would need ~167 additional orders a month just to pay for itself.

The recommendation

Before committing significantly more money to advertising, test whether a pricing change could improve financial contribution without substantially weakening demand.

How this supports the vision

Improving profitability without proportionately increasing customer volume could create a more sustainable business without adding unnecessary operational complexity.

The next 30 days

Establish product-level economics, select a suitable pricing-test group, define success thresholds and review the results before expanding.

Fictional example. All figures are hypothetical and chosen to illustrate the reasoning.

A clearer commercial decision. An evidence-led insight. A practical next move that serves your vision.

Questions

Before you book.

How much does it cost, and how long is it?

The Business Growth Review is £495 for a 75-minute private online session. You pay securely through Stripe when you book.

Can the fee count towards a Sprint?

Yes. If you decide to move forward with a Growth Strategy Sprint within 30 days, your £495 review fee will be credited towards the sprint.

Do I need a Review before a Sprint?

No. You can enquire about a Sprint directly. Every Sprint includes its own discovery and working sessions.

What should I prepare?

The intake questions ask about your business, your goals and the challenge on your mind. Bring any figures you have, such as revenue, costs, prices or customer numbers. Rough figures are fine.

What if I don’t have much data?

That’s common. We work with what you have, make assumptions explicit and identify which evidence is worth collecting next.

Not sure it’s right for you?

Let’s talk about your business first, and we can work out together what would help most.

Is it confidential?

What you share is used only to prepare for and deliver your session.

Can I reschedule?
